Youth Fleet (sailboard, first weekend only, less than 17 years)

Novice Fleet (sailboard or kite board, first time in any sailing competition)

Amateur Sailboard Fleet (not Novice, Gold or Pro) Note: The Amateur Sailboard fleet is sub-divided between Masters, age 45 years or more, and the rest.

Gold Fleet (sailboard or kite board, assisted by sponsor or a previous Amateur prize winner)

Pro Fleet (sailboard or kite board, derives financial benefit from the sport)

Women's Fleet (sailboard)

Sailboard Fleet (board with the sail supported by the rider)

Kite Fleet (kite propelled, sinks when stationary)

Boat Fleet (not a sail or kite board, may have sails, kites or rotors)
