I live in the Ashdown Forest with my wife Mary and three children Natasha, James and Sebastian (triplets born August 1994), four horses and Milo our second Samoyed dog. I have been involved in windsurfing ever since Bob Spagnoletti insisted that I try it one summer day in 1980.

My association with Weymouth Speed Week developed largely as a result of helping Bob Spagnoletti in his various endeavours with Robert Downhill to perfect the speed timing equipment.

More recently it has included encouraging Jon Howes to design and build a World Record beating speed sailing machine.
