ROTARY CRAFT Peter Worsley's Rotary Craft is in the background behind Robert Downhill. Robert appears to be guarding the lunchtime sandwiches. Peter Worsley sailed his Rotary Sailing Craft. It was fascinating to watch this craft make steady forward progress whilst sailing directly into the wind. The following pictures show various views of Peter's boat. The 'windmill' drives a belt which in turn transmits power to the water propeller via bicycle gears. |
