![]() At Speed Week 1999 Stacey Vass, sail number 47, was using Neil Pryde RX1 sails and AHD boards. The sail size used most was a 6.7 sq metre on 58 cm wide Diamond slalom board of 258 cm length with a 30 cm fin. In the lighter winds Stacey was using a 72cm wide AHD Diamond race board with 8.4 sq metre and 9.3 sq metre RX1 sails with 46 and 52 cm fins.
At Weymouth Speed Week 1999 Stacey achieved 31.22 knots, his best speed in international events is 33.60 knots. Over a 100 meter course 39.6 knots (45.4 mph). The Neil Pryde RX1 race sail has 3 cams and a shear tip which is designed to allow considerable twist in the head of the sail.
